Growth habits:

1. Habit: Eastern type, growing period: October to the following May. Dormancy period: June to September. This genus fears high temperature and humidity environments. After entering October, in the late autumn to early spring, temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius enter the growing period, and below 20 degrees Celsius is the peak growing period.

2. Watering: Water promptly after the soil dries, make sure to water thoroughly, and if you go out for business, it's fine not to water for a month.

3. Fertilization: Since Dintheranthus grows in poor soil, it does not require heavy fertilization, apply a light liquid fertilizer twice a year.

4. Growing environment: Choose a well-ventilated environment to effectively control the plant shape.

5. Plant shape: Except for Ryukyu Jade which has a flat top, the rest are very similar to small peaches in spring, with colors ranging from greenish white to milky white, hence the name Dintheranthus. If the lighting conditions during the growing period are good, the plant body will show a light pink color, making the spots more prominent.

6. Sowing time: The best temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, choose November for sowing in the Jiangnan region. The sowing method can refer to my blog post “About the sowing propagation method of Lithops”.

7. Soil: The soil for seedlings should be fine, and for plants over three years old, you can add more granules.

The above information introduces the planting method of Dintheranthus for your reference, and it is hoped that it can solve your problems in the management of green plants and flowers.
