Hyacinth Plant Introduction

Hyacinth is a perennial herbaceous plant with bulbs in the Hyacinthaceae family. Alias: Dutch Hyacinth, Common Hyacinth, Multicolored Hyacinth, Time Pattern Brocade. It originally belonged to the Liliaceae family but has now been upgraded to the new model genus of the Hyacinthaceae family, and hyacinths have also been moved from the original Liliales to the newly established Asparagales. Hyacinths are divided into early flowering, mid flowering, and late flowering types, preferring a warm and humid winter, slightly cool and dry summer, with plenty of sunlight or semi-shady environment. They like fertile soil and require fertile, well-draining sandy loam, avoiding overly wet or heavy soil. Hyacinth bulbs have the habit of summer dormancy, rooting in autumn and winter, sprouting new buds in early spring, flowering in March, and the plants wither by the first week of June.
