Jasmine, an evergreen small shrub or vine-like shrub, has many varieties, beautiful appearance, mainly white, purple is rare. There are about 200 varieties of jasmine, mainly including: Single Petal Jasmine, Double Petal Jasmine, Multi-petal Jasmine, Silver Thread Jasmine, etc. Jasmine prefers warm and humid conditions, grows best in well-ventilated, semi-shady environments. The soil is most suitable for slightly acidic sandy soil with a high content of humus. Most varieties are afraid of cold and drought, intolerant of frost, humidity, and alkaline soil. When the temperature in winter is below 3°C, the branches and leaves are prone to frost damage, and if the duration is long, they will die. The deciduous vines, however, are very cold and drought-tolerant.
