The Fireworks Tree is an evergreen shrub. It grows to about 50 cm in height with square young branches and dark green in color. The leaves are opposite, long elliptical, with a dark purple-red underside. The flowers are terminal, with numerous small flowers curling outwards into a semicircle. The fruit is elliptical. It flowers in the year of planting, with flowers blooming from June to November, lasting for half a year. It prefers a warm and humid climate, is not cold-resistant, slightly drought-resistant, and can tolerate thin soil.
