Choose a location with plenty of sunlight and place a sufficient amount of coarse rice straw at the bottom of the pot. A nutrient-rich soil mixture can be made using soil, sawdust, bark, and compost. Insert ceramsite into the pot to increase drainage and aeration.
Potted grapevines can be placed directly on the surface of the potting soil and fertilized with compound fertilizer or decomposed cake fertilizer. A small amount of compound fertilizer or decomposed fertilizer can be applied during germination.
