Cactus (Ball) Laurus Dragon Claws Ball Plant Introduction

The Laurus Dragon Claws Ball, also known as the Hairy Wart Cactus, is native to the northern coast of Chile. The plant is spherical to cylindrical in shape, with the top densely covered in villous hair. The ridges and tubercles are segmented. The small spines are radiating. Flowers bloom at the top, with almost no floral tube, bell-shaped or saucer-shaped, the flowers are golden yellow, with petals that have a metallic sheen. The seeds are very small in number and the seedlings grow very slowly.
