Pearl Aloe, also known as Dotted Aloe, Brocade Beard Aloe, Wood File Aloe, and German Pineapple, is native to the Cape Province of South Africa. It belongs to the small species, generally less than 10 cm in height, without an above-ground stem, each cluster has over 50 lanceolate leaves, leaf tips have long bristles, leaves are flat and dense, acuminate, with densely raised white spots on the leaf surface, leaf edges have spines, and it blooms orange-yellow flowers in summer. Mainly used for ornamental purposes, placed on a sunny tea table, it adds a touch of interest.
