Lao Le Zhu belongs to the Cactaceae Lao Le Zhu Genus. Mature Lao Le Zhu has many feathery long hairs, which become denser towards the top. The tip also produces flower buds. The flowers open at night, are funnel-shaped, and are usually white or pink.
