The Xiangfu莲, a time-honored variety of Dongyun, is considered a large Dongyun. Whether it is a variety or a hybrid is no longer verifiable.反正ICN lists it as Var. Xiangfu莲. An adult Xiangfu莲 can reach a diameter of over 30cm, but when planted in a pot, it will not grow large. The leaves are numerous and crowded, with a height of 10 to 12cm. When flowering, it will have more than three inflorescences, each about 15cm in length, with around 8 or 9 flower heads per inflorescence. The flowers are red (Pompeii Red?). The color of Xiangfu莲 can vary greatly, from a green close to the original species to a deep red, depending on minimal watering and exposure to sunlight.
