Orostachys Malacophyllus is a biennial succulent herb. In the first year, it produces rosette leaves, the leaves are oblong to ovate, the apex is blunt, and in the second year, a flowering stem is produced, 10-30 cm tall. The stem leaves are alternate, close together, sessile, spatulate-obovate, oblong-lanceolate, or elliptical, larger than the rosette leaves, with purple-red spots on both sides. The inflorescence is racemose, cylindrical, flowers are dense, petals are white or light green, turning light yellow when dry, with ovoid achenes. The whole plant is used in medicine for hemostasis and menstrual regulation. It can also be used as an ornamental plant in flower beds. Due to the succulent and juicy leaves and flower stems of Orostachys Malacophyllus, it is often used for animal forage, and animals that have eaten it often drink water once every 2-3 days, and it is considered by herders as a good grass for autumn fattening.
