Mini Star Succulent Plant
Mini Star Succulent Plant Attributes
Chinese Name Mini Star Alias Latin Name Crassula rupestris Family Crassulaceae Genus Crassula Origin South AfricaMini Star Succulent Plant Introduction
The Mini Star is a perennial succulent herbaceous plant with a clumping growth habit, fine branches, and fleshy stems. Over time, the stems gradually become semi-woody. The plant's fleshy leaves are gray-green to light green, with slightly red edges, especially noticeable during late autumn and early spring when the temperature difference is significant. The leaves are opposite, ovate-triangular, without petioles, and the bases are connected. New leaves overlap on top and bottom, while mature leaves have a slight gap between them. The flowers are white and bloom from April to May. One benefit of cutting the top for propagation is that it allows the mother plant to achieve a better shape, as new growth points will emerge from the cut area.
