Large-bract Sedum is an annual herb, 15—50 cm tall. The main root is short, with several lateral roots, linear, extending, and bearing numerous fibrous fine roots. The leaves below are alternate, early deciduous, and the leaf blades are oblong, elliptical, or rarely obovate; the corymbose inflorescence is terminal, with three-branched; the bracts are the same as the stem leaves, with small bracts suborbicular, broadly obovate, or broadly ovate; the petals are yellow, narrowly oblong or linear-lanceolate; the seeds are fusiform; the flowering and fruiting period is from June to October.
