Persimmon crabapple is a deciduous shrub or small tree, reaching up to 7 meters in height, without thorns, blooming in April and fruiting from September to October. It prefers warm conditions and has a certain degree of cold resistance. It requires well-drained soil and is not tolerant of humidity and salty alkali. It is often cultivated in gardens for landscaping. The plant is also commonly referred to as Persimmon, but it is different from the subtropical fruit papaya (also commonly referred to as Persimmon). Although they are very different, they are still easily confused.
