Introduction to Cyclamen Autumnalis Plant

Cyclamen (Colchicum autumnale L.) is a perennial herbaceous bulbous plant of the Cyclamen genus in the Liliaceae family. It blooms from August to October. The flower buds are spindle-shaped, resembling a funnel when open, with a light pink (or purple) color, graceful and beautiful, and loved by many. Native to Europe and the Mediterranean coast, Cyclamen was introduced into China from abroad in the 1970s, with seeds and bulbs. It is commonly used in rock gardens or flower beds in landscaping. Most Cyclamen bloom in autumn without growing leaves, with flowers in pink or deep red, emerging directly from the underground stem with 1-4 flowers, earning the reputation of "underground flowers."
