Jasmine propagation season
Today's focus is to introduce the season for jasmine propagation and the knowledge of green plant flowers about the time and method of jasmine cutting, let's follow the editor to see it!
Substrate: A well-ventilated substrate; Branch: A flowering branch 10cm long, leaving 2 leaves cut in half; Cutting: Cut from May to October, leaving 1/3 of the branch in the substrate, and place the whole in a basin of water; Maintenance: Keep in a cool and well-ventilated place; Transplanting: Plant the branch with the substrate in the pot soil, and after the seedlings have recovered, grow normally.
1. Prepare the substrate
Choose a loose, well-ventilated substrate, which can be coarse vermiculite or river sand, perlite, and slightly acidic sandy soil. Choose a planting container with holes at the bottom, such as a plastic bottle, which is easy to drill holes in the bottom.
2. Select the branches
Choose one-year-old branches that have bloomed, cut the branches at about 10cm, leaving 2 leaves, if the leaves are too large, you can cut the leaves in half to reduce evaporation and photosynthesis, store nutrients for cutting, and improve the survival rate of cutting. The branch should retain more than 2 buds, from which new buds will grow after potting.
3. Cutting process
The cutting time can be done from May to October, maintaining a temperature of 20-25℃, which can ensure the survival rate under suitable temperature conditions. Before cutting, make a hole in the center of the substrate, place the branch in the hole, leave 1/3 in the substrate, and gently press the substrate around the branch with the palm. After cutting, water thoroughly, and place the small pot in a basin with water depth of 1-2cm.

4. Maintenance management
Several branches can be cut at once, and after cutting, place them in a cool and well-ventilated place for preservation. Since there are no roots, there is no need to fertilize at this time. 30-40 days later, observe that the pot is full of white rootlets, and the branches are gradually growing new buds, which means the plant has survived.
5. Transplanting
When the sun is not strong, such as in the evening, fill the flower pot with soil, make a hole in the center, and plant the branch with the substrate in the pot soil, cover a thin layer of soil on top of the roots, and after 2-3 days of seedling, it can be placed in the sun for normal maintenance.
The above is the specific introduction of the season for jasmine propagation and its cutting time and method, hoping to bring some flower knowledge to green plant enthusiasts.
