Primula has cymose or umbel-like cymose inflorescences terminal, with 3-25 flowers; bracts are conical, 3-7 mm long; pedicels are absent or up to 2 cm long; sepals have 5 prominent ribs, hairless, sepal tube 1-2 mm long, lobes are acuminate-linear, 1-3 mm long; corolla is yellow, sub-funnel-shaped, corolla tube 0.9-1.5 cm long, lobes are ovate or oblong, 4-8 mm long, 3-5 mm wide, apex acuminate, rarely rounded, margin fringed.
