Tulip flowering time
Tulips are native to the high mountainous areas of Iran and Turkey. Due to the Mediterranean climate, tulips have adapted to wet and cold winters and dry and hot summers. Their characteristics are summer dormancy, rooting and germinating new buds in autumn and winter but not emerging from the soil, and starting to grow and form stems and leaves after experiencing low temperatures in winter, usually around the beginning of February of the following year (temperatures above 5℃), and blooming from March to April.
The flowering time of tulips is uneven, with some opening as early as the beginning of March and others not until the end of April. The flowering period is short, usually lasting for about ten days.

How to handle tulips after flowering?
Method 1: For home gardening, after the flowers fade, take out the bulbous roots and place them in the sun, then store them in a shady place; when autumn comes, put them in a flower pot, water them, and store them outdoors like wheat, which will naturally bloom the following year.
Method 2: After the flowers fade, except for the mother plants reserved for seeds, the flower stems of the others should be cut promptly to allow nutrients to concentrate on the development of new bulbs. They should not be placed in the freezer but should be stored in a thawing state, otherwise, they will freeze to death.
