How to deal with tulips after blooming?
Method 1: For home gardening, after the flowers fade, take out the bulbous roots and place them in the sun to dry, then store them in a cool place; when autumn comes, put them in a flower pot, water them, and store them outdoors like wheat, which will naturally bloom the following year.
Method 2: After the flowers fade, except for the mother plants reserved for seeds, the flower stems of the rest should be cut off promptly to allow nutrients to concentrate on the development of new bulbs. They should not be frozen in the refrigerator but should be stored in a defrosting state, otherwise, they will freeze to death.
