Banyan bonsai propagation methods and maintenance precautions? Banyan bonsai is a very good ornamental bonsai and has been loved by people in daily life. Next, let's understand some of the key points of banyan propagation and the precautions for planting banyan bonsai, so as to help friends who like banyan bonsai to obtain materials for banyan bonsai and do a good job in cultivation.
There are four methods of propagating banyan bonsai, as shown below:
First, cutting: Cutting work is generally carried out in spring. Everyone can cut branches 5-15 centimeters long from the existing banyan trees, and each branch needs to contain 3-4 buds, and 1-3 leaves need to be left on each branch. Insert the branches into the预先准备好的 flower pots, and cover the flower pots with plastic film to keep warm and moisturize. If there are no accidents, they can sprout in about one and a half months, and then you can start potting.
Second, layering: If you use the layering method to obtain new materials for banyan bonsai, you can use normal layering and high branch layering methods to obtain new banyan bonsai materials.
1. The normal layering method involves pressing a part of the枝条 into the soil and watering it properly, and after about a month, a new plant can grow and form, at which time you can separate it from the original plant and pot it separately.

2. High branch layering method: You need to select a branch that is growing well and peel off the outer bark at an appropriate position, usually 1.0-1.5 centimeters wide, wrap the wound with moist peat or moss, and finally wrap it tightly with plastic film, tie it up at both ends, and make several small holes on the film for ventilation. Cut the pot when the roots have grown.
Third, if you have banyan seeds, you can use the sowing method to obtain banyan seedlings and then cultivate them into bonsai. The specific method is: spread the mature banyan fruit and dry it in the sun, crush it to remove the fine seeds, soak them in water for about twelve hours to absorb enough water, then sow them into the预先准备好的 flower pots, and water them properly.
Sowing Precautions: During the sowing process, if the temperature can be maintained at about 25-30℃, the seeds will germinate in about half a month. After the plants grow steadily, you can properly spray 1% urea or potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaf surface of the banyan tree to promote its growth. I believe that soon the banyan tree will grow.
