Five-Leaf Creeper Plant Introduction

The Five-Leaf Creeper is a deciduous vine with branched tendrils, and the tips of the tendrils have suction cups. The leaves vary greatly in shape, usually broad-ovate; the cymes are often located between two leaves at the top of short branches. The flowers are small and yellow-green. The berries are spherical, blue-black, and covered with white powder. The flowering period is June, and the fruiting period is October. In late autumn and winter, the leaves turn red or yellow, making it very beautiful and one of the main tree species for vertical greening. It is suitable for planting near house walls, fences, garden entrances, bridgehead stone slopes, etc. It has strong resistance to harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide and is also suitable for greening materials in industrial and mining areas. The vines and roots can be used for medicinal purposes.
