Sunflower, also known as Half Branch Lotus, Pine Leaf Peony, and Large Flower Portulaca, is an annual succulent herbaceous plant of the Portulaca family Portulaca genus. Sunflowers are 10-15 cm tall, with bright petal colors in white, deep, yellow, red, purple, and other colors. The fruit splits when mature, with small, brownish-black seeds. They bloom from June to July. There are many horticultural varieties, including single-petal, semi-double-petal, and double-petal.
