Floral Pinnate Lavender Introduction

Pinnate lavender blooms throughout the year, but the main flowering period is from November to the following May and June. It stops flowering and enters dormancy during the excessive heat of summer. The fragrance is similar to a mixture of geranium and rosemary, strong but with a heavy mixed taste. The leaves are fragrant, but the flowers have no scent. Pinnate lavender is the variety with the longest flowering period, used for cut flowers, pressed flowers, or garden cultivation and aromatherapy. It is heat-tolerant, requires good drainage and sunlight, and excessive exposure to sunlight can cause it to lignify, but this is less obvious than in other varieties. It needs shade during summer. It is semi-hardy, requiring protection when temperatures drop below -5 degrees Celsius in winter, and it does not tolerate snow accumulation. It should generally be placed in a well-ventilated area; during summer, if kept indoors or in a stuffy and humid environment, it may suddenly die.
