3. Sunlight
Cymbidium is not suitable for direct sunlight and prefers a diffused light environment, especially in summer when the sunlight is too strong and it cannot tolerate it, so it needs to be shaded by about 80%. Even in the dim winter light, it needs to be shaded by about 30%. 4. Fertilizing
Cymbidium does not require much fertilizer, usually using light fertilizer, such as agricultural compound fertilizer, and avoid over-fertilization to prevent root rot. There are two forms of compound fertilizer: liquid and granular. The liquid fertilizer needs to be diluted before application. For granular fertilizer, only 4 granules are applied to a pot.
