The Hang Lamp Flower is a shrub with soft branches, narrow ovate leaves, similar to those of the Chinese Rose, with a rounded base, irregular coarse teeth or notches on the edges, and both sides hairless. The flowers hang down, with a diameter of 6-10 centimeters. The petals are usually 5, light red or rose red, with feathered lobes, very exquisite and beautiful; the filaments of the stamens are fused, enclosing the pistil, and are longer, extending beyond the corolla.
