The Big Flower Field Bean is a small tree, 4-10 meters tall, with斜展 branches, cylindrical in shape, with distinct leaf scars and stipule scars. It has pinnate compound leaves, stipules obliquely ovate-lanceolate, leaflets oblong to elliptical; racemes, green calyces, white, pink to rose red corollas, standard petals oblong to broadly ovate; pods linear, slightly curved, pendant, seeds brownish red, slightly glossy, elliptical to sub-reniform; flowering and fruiting period from September to April of the following year. The bark of the Big Flower Field Bean can be used as medicine, with the effect of drying dampness and healing ulcers.
