The King's Crown is a perennial herb, with stems growing in clusters from thick, short rhizomes, 15-50 cm tall. Leaves are rhombic or diamond-shaped, nearly sessile. The outer tepals are ovate-lanceolate, green, while the inner tepals are white, rarely light purple, ovate-lanceolate; the fruit is spherical, black-purple, containing numerous seeds. Flowering period is from April to June, fruiting period from July to August. Flower language - beauty, elegant person. It is a species gradually becoming endangered. Due to excessive deforestation, the environment for the growth of King's Crown under the forest has been destroyed, making its distribution area increasingly smaller.
