The Climbing Rose is a vine-like shrub of the Rosaceae Subfamily and Rose Genus, with relatively tall plants. Each year, it produces sturdy new branches from the base, and at the tip of the second-year vines, it grows thicker lateral branches. It is robust and grows rapidly, using thorns on the stems or tendrils to climb on other objects. Although it has the habit of blooming in all seasons, the number of flowers is highest in late spring or early summer, followed by a few flowers from summer to autumn.
