The rose plant mentioned above belongs to one of our training camp students. It looks very good in the picture, full of flower buds, but the student thinks the branches are not strong enough and wants to find a way to make them stronger.
If you want the branches of a rose plant to become stronger, new shoots need to grow out. However, looking at this rose plant, it is obvious that there is an abundance of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, so although the branches are thin, each one has flower buds. To encourage strong shoots in the rose, it is recommended to change the fertilizing plan and prune simultaneously to promote new branch growth.
When pruning roses, it is recommended to start with a light cut, first cutting off 1/3 of the plant, and then proceed with detailed pruning to prevent too much cutting, which is difficult to control.
