If you don't have your own rootstock, you can buy osmanthus or rose tree rootstock online for grafting. Of course, for新手 flower friends who lack confidence, it is recommended that after learning today's budding technique, you should practice on roses first, and then proceed with your rose tree.
Now, let's get back to the main topic and introduce the grafting method for rose trees in detail.

Grafting steps: First, we need to clean the leaves and thorns of the rootstock for grafting to facilitate operation.
The rootstock used for demonstration is obtained by high空中 layering, a thick rose branch with many thorns. To avoid being pricked, all thorns and leaves are removed first.
After the rootstock is prepared, we need to prepare the grafting film to wrap the grafting joint. If you use professional grafting film, you can use it directly. If you use a plastic bag, you need to cut the plastic bag into small strips for备用.
Note: The grafting film must be clean. Contaminated grafting film can easily cause the grafting joint to become infected and lead to grafting failure.
Next, let's take the bud, using the budding method. The principle of rose budding can be carried out in all seasons, but the temperature is relatively low in winter, which can easily cause frostbite, so it is not recommended.
