Therefore, timely pruning is very necessary. When pruning, we should cut about at the second or third pair of leaves below the flower.
Apply the same method to other parts. At this stage, our main pruning is to do a light cut. The purpose of light pruning is to allow new flower buds to grow from the leaf axils at the bottom, so that they can bloom continuously later.
2. Nutrition
After pruning, due to the wound on the rose, it can lead to withered branch disease, so applying some protective fungicides is very necessary.
We use Mancozeb diluted 1000 times and apply it to the foliage. Be careful not to spray it on the flowers or flower buds. It can not only kill germs but also form a protective film at the wound, making it less likely to wither.
Let the plant recover for a few days, and after a few days, we can apply some root-enhancing and flower-strengthening nutrient solution. It is a low-nitrogen, high-phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. We just need to dilute it 500 times and use it once every seven days to make the roses grow new flower branches, differentiate into flower buds, and then bloom continuously.
