The white powder vine is a perennial climbing herbaceous plant, belonging to a genus in the Vitaceae family. It has tuberous roots underground and its stems and leaves are powdery green. The stems are round and thick with nodes; they have a powdery texture and are about 3 meters long, with tendrils that climb on other objects. The leaves are alternate with long petioles, the blades are heart-shaped, about 10 cm long, with acuminate tips, narrowly cordate bases, and sparse shallow serrated edges. The veins on the underside are prominent. In summer and autumn, it blooms light green tiny flowers, with small truncate calyces. The berries are fleshy, containing one seed. Some white powder vines are cultivated as ornamental plants indoors, and there is a type of white powder vine that grows long aerial roots, hanging down like curtains, which is very beautiful.
