What to do if a succulent grows too long
A brief knowledge sharing article, introducing how to deal with succulents that grow too long and methods to save them, related to green plants and flowers, as follows:
Succulents are quite special; they require specific experience throughout their care cycle. Without experience, it's difficult to care for them properly. Whoever starts caring for succulents will encounter many issues during the maintenance period, the most common of which is the stretching of succulents. Due to insufficient sunlight, the leaves of succulents start to grow rapidly, resulting in long leaves, which is a sign of stretching.
The most commonly cultivated succulents at home are Sedum succulents, which have the same growth habits as cacti and cactoid plants, requiring long hours of sunlight. They must be in an environment with adequate sunlight to meet their growth needs. Without sunlight, the most obvious condition expressed by succulents is stretching.
When starting to care for succulents, many people's plants will experience stretching. The only solution to this problem is to increase sunlight. In severe cases of stretching, it is necessary to cut the top off. Some succulents are severely stretched and, in critical condition, can only be discarded.

Beginners in succulent care also face the issue of their plants growing like green vegetables. While others have succulents with a vibrant red color and beautiful condition, the leaves of your succulents are all greasy-green, similar to common green plants, with no color change on the leaves. The main reason for the oily green leaves of succulents is still the lack of sunlight.
Sunlight plays a decisive role in the growth of Sedum succulents. Without sunlight, it is impossible to care for them well. To grow succulents well, you first need to have a suitable environment for them to grow, such as an open balcony or courtyard, placing the purchased succulents directly on the balcony for care. With adequate sunlight, succulents are less likely to have problems.
For those succulents that look like green vegetables, the first thing to do is to stop watering them. Do not water them and immediately move them to the balcony, placing them in a sunny spot. Stop watering for a month. During this month, make sure they get plenty of sunlight. When the roots of succulents do not absorb water, their growth rate will slow down. With adequate sunlight, the leaves will enhance photosynthesis, and new leaves will grow. The green leaves will gradually turn pink.
