Epiphyllum Oxypetalum is a perennial evergreen epiphytic plant of the Cactaceae family. It has flat, lanceolate stems resembling command arrows, and flowers similar to water lilies, hence the name. It thrives in environments with good lighting and ventilation, but requires partial shade in hot, high-temperature, and dry conditions. It dislikes rainwater and requires fertile, loose, and well-drained soil, with a certain degree of drought resistance. It is most abundant in Mexico and is mainly cultivated in pots in China. Epiphyllum Oxypetalum has many varieties with vibrant colors. It blooms in mid-summer and is an excellent decoration for windowsills, balconies, and entrance halls.
