Epiphyllum is a shrub-like succulent plant, growing 1-2 meters tall. The main stem is cylindrical and woody. The flowering season of Epiphyllum is generally from June to October, with the flowers blooming around 8-9 PM. The blooming period lasts only 3-4 hours, which is very short. Native to Mexico, it prefers a warm, humid, and semi-shaded environment. It is not frost-resistant and dislikes strong sunlight exposure. It is suitable for sandy loam rich in humus. The temperature in winter should not be lower than 5°C.
