Cactus (Ball) Multi-ridged Ball Plant Introduction

The multi-ridged ball has ridges, which are very thin and wavy. Each ridge has two areoles. The spines are yellow and later turn gray. It blooms in spring, with flowers growing at the top of the ball, bell-shaped, white, with purple veins. The fruit has papery scales and splits longitudinally. The seeds are black. It prefers plenty of sunlight but semi-shade in summer. In winter, it requires a cool environment and the potting soil should be kept dry. The environment should be well-ventilated.
