Cactus (Ball) Peninsular Jade Plant Introduction

Peninsular Jade, with solitary plants, globular to cylindrical in shape, and dark green in body color. It has high wart-like ridges. Areoles are evenly arranged with 9-11 yellowish-white radial spines; there are 5 brownish-red central spines, one of which is flattened and downward-pointing with a hooked tip. In spring, it produces bell-shaped flowers with yellow petals and purple stripes. Often used as a potted plant for ornamental purposes.
