Binruo, a single plant, is spherical to cylindrical in shape, with a diameter of 25-30 cm and a height of 70-80 cm, and has a bluish-green body color. It has 8 edges with high ridges and is covered with white star spots. It has 5-8 needle-like radial spines and 1 central spine; new spines are yellow-brown, and old spines are brown. In spring and summer, it bears bright yellow funnel-shaped flowers at the top, with a diameter of 7-8 cm.
