Jade Butterfly (Scientific Name: Echeveria secunda var. glauca), also known as Stonecrop, Gem Flower, Stone莲花 Palm, Lotus Palm, and Ba Bao Palm. A perennial succulent herb or sub-shrub, the plant can grow up to 60 cm tall and 20 cm in diameter. The leaves are alternate, forming a rosette on the shortened stem, obovate-spatulate, light green, succulent, and powdery white on the surface. The monochasial cyme is axillary; the small flowers are bell-shaped, with a 5-lobed apex, crimson in color, and the tip is yellow. The fruit is a follicle. Native to Hidalgo, Mexico, it is one of the most common succulent plants in China.
