The Aloe genus (scientific name: Aloe) is commonly known as aloe, native to the Mediterranean and Africa, and belongs to the Asphodelaceae family of perennial herbaceous plants. There are over 300 wild aloe species documented, mainly distributed in Africa and other regions. This plant is quite popular due to its ease of cultivation and its dual ornamental value of flowers and leaves. Only six varieties are edible, and among them, the aloe species with medicinal value mainly include: Aloe Barbadensis (also known as巴巴多斯芦荟 or Aloe Vera), Aloe Curacao (distributed in Northern Africa and the West Indies), Aloe Ferox (distributed in Southern Africa), and Yuanjiang Aloe, etc.
