Wo Niu belongs to the genus Gasteria of the Liliaceae family, a perennial succulent herbaceous plant, native to the Cape Province of South Africa, with a矮小的 plant without a stem. It has short and thick dark green hard leaves, with two leaves overlapping each other alternately, the leaf surface is rough but glossy, the tip is flat and oblique, parallel to the ground or slightly curved, depending on the variety, about 6~8 cm long and 4~6 cm wide. Its leaf shape resembles the tongue of a cow, and its plant shape is similar to that of a cow lying down, hence the Japanese name "Wo Niu". The flower stem is about 30~60 cm tall, with orange-yellow flowers in a tube shape, about 3 cm long, neatly hanging on the flower stem, blooming in sequence, with a viewing period of about 10~14 days.
