Many-meat Skyhorse Pachypodium succulentum - Apocynaceae, Pachypodium, native to the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. A succulent dwarf shrub with thick, fleshy roots, the stem base swells, with a diameter of 15 cm, mostly buried underground in its native habitat. The above-ground part has a yellowish-brown, rough epidermis, and the swollen stem base is relatively soft in texture.
