Latin Name: Sedum x rubrotinctum Clausen

Botanical Characteristics: A succulent plant of the Sedum genus in the Crassulaceae family, it is a perennial succulent herb. Hongzhiyu grows quickly, with spring being its main growing season. If the temperature exceeds 35°C, it needs to be properly shaded. Hongzhiyu is green when not in a state, with a glossy, powdery-free epidermis, and turns reddish-brown when in a state.

Latin Name: Sedum x rubrotinctum ‘Aurora’

Botanical Characteristics: A variegated variety of Hongzhiyu in the Sedum genus of the Crassulaceae family. It has the same growth rate as Hongzhiyu, but because it has less chlorophyll, it appears whiter in color. Additionally, Hongzhiyu Jin has patterns on its leaves and a thin layer of white powder on the surface, turning pink when in a state.
