Meatball Sedum Plant Introduction

Sedum suaveolens looks very similar to the Graptopetalum genus, and it is almost indistinguishable from it unless it flowers. Sedum suaveolens is a perennial succulent herbaceous plant, a medium-sized variety. The plant's succulent leaves are arranged in a tight rosette. The blue-white leaves curve inward with distinct folds, and under ample sunlight and with time, the leaves' powder becomes very beautiful. If there is insufficient light, the leaves will stretch and become duller in color, and they will also look less attractive.

The leaf surface of Sedum suaveolens is smooth and does not easily accumulate water. The leaves have a slight white powder, and the plant needs ample sunlight for the leaf color to be vibrant and the plant form to be tighter and more attractive. After years of clustering, the plant becomes very spectacular, especially the old stakes that have been pruned for many years. Sedum suaveolens has a cluster inflorescence with white flowers, similar to most Sedum genus, the flowers open upwards when in bloom.

Sedum suaveolens requires ample sunlight and a cool, dry environment, can tolerate semi-shade, but is afraid of waterlogging and dislikes humid heat. It has the habit of growing in cool seasons and dormant in high summer temperatures. From September of each year to June of the following year is the growing period of the plant (the growing period may vary depending on the environment of the plant enthusiasts). Insufficient sunlight will cause the plant's leaves to elongate, while plants growing in full sunlight will have a shorter, stocky shape with leaves arranged tightly and layered.
