Attributes of Multi-flesh Tricolorina Plant
Chinese Name Tricolorina Alias Latin Name Echeveria carnicolor f.etricina Family Crassulaceae Genus Echeveria Origin and DistributionIntroduction to Multi-flesh Tricolorina Plant
Tricolorina is a multi-flesh plant belonging to the Crassulaceae family and Echeveria genus, featuring a silvery bright color variant. It doesn't have a Chinese name and is currently known by its transliterated name Tricolorina. The leaves are smooth with white powder, ranging in color from blue-pink to blue-white. In ample sunlight, the leaves are tightly arranged, while in low light, they become light green or light blue, narrowing and lengthening, also thinning, with the spacing between leaves etiolating.
The flower stalk of Tricolorina is not tall. The inflorescence is a cluster of pink flowers, with the blooms facing downward, having five petals and looking very beautiful. It flowers in early summer. Tricolorina needs plenty of sunlight for its leaves to become vibrant, the plant form to be tighter and more beautiful, and the leaves to be fleshy. Tricolorina is a small to medium-sized plant that requires repotting every 2 to 4 years depending on its growth state. The pot diameter can be 1 to 2 inches larger than the plant diameter to promote growth. The soil must be dry before watering, and a slow-release fertilizer can be applied once every quarter. Propagation is done through leaf insertion and cutting to trigger the growth of small lateral buds, which can be done throughout the year, or by sowing.
