Chinese Name Chinese Pink Alias Latin Name Genus Sedum Genus Othonna Origin DistributionChinese Pink Succulent Plant Introduction
The Chinese Pink is a succulent plant from the Crassulaceae family, which prefers a well-ventilated environment with plenty of sunlight. Poor ventilation can easily lead to pest infestations (scale insects), and insufficient sunlight will cause the leaves to turn green and curl downward, leading to easy death over time. With increased sunlight, it turns purple-red, and the leaves become compact. The Chinese Pink has low water requirements, enters dormancy in summer, and strict water control is necessary. Propagation of the Chinese Pink mainly occurs through division, with young plants branching out from the main plant, which can be cut and rooted.
