The inflorescence is 70 cm tall, with pendant small flowers that are red or yellow-red.

Cultivation Tips:

The growing period is long, with spring and autumn as the main growing seasons. The optimal temperature for growth is 15-25 degrees Celsius, and the temperature in winter should not be lower than 5 degrees. Full sunlight is required except during the midsummer period. The cultivation soil should be fertile with good drainage. A general mixture of peat, vermiculite, and perlite can be used as the soil. During the growing season, water thoroughly when dry, and during the summer dormancy period, ensure ventilation and reduce watering, especially avoid watering in midsummer. In winter, keep the potting soil slightly dry; fertilize once a month during the growing season.

Propagation Methods:

Mainly propagated by cutting. During the growing season, select short internode, thick leaves for cuttings, 5 to 7 cm long, with the top internode being the best. Allow the cut surface to dry slightly before inserting into the sand bed. Roots will form in about 20 to 25 days, and the plant can be potted after 30 days. Single leaf cuttings can also be used, placing the thick and full leaves flat on the sand pot and pressing the leaf stem firmly. Roots will form in about 25 to 30 days, and small plants will gradually grow.
