Rhanis Avonia quinaria - Portulacaceae, Anacampseros, native to South Africa and Namibia. A perennial succulent with a tuberous root, small leaves with stipules, which are papery stipules enclosing tiny leaves. Flowers have 5 parts, with a very short blooming period, some species bloom for only one hour. Rhanis is self-pollinating, with a maturation period of about three weeks.
