Description of Rotating Succulent Aloe Plant

The rotating aloe is native to the Kingdom of Lesotho in southeastern Africa, also known as multi-leaf aloe or queen of aloes. It is one of the most precious and beautiful highland aloes in the world, listed as an endangered species. The plant is a perennial succulent herb. The leaves are arranged in a rosette pattern, with up to 100 leaves on a mature plant, closely packed and spiraling. The leaves are deep green, triangular in shape, 15-25 cm long, and 4-8 cm wide at the base. The back of the leaves has two semi-transparent ridges, and these ridges are dotted with sparse, semi-transparent small spines. The leaf edges have semi-transparent cuticles, which also have sparse, semi-transparent small spines. The mature rotating aloe produces flower clusters with tall inflorescences, red bases, and green tips, resembling the flowers of the shark's fin plant, and is pollinated by separate male and female plants. The rotating aloe requires plenty of sunlight but not too intense, along with a cool and dry environment. It can tolerate partial shade, dislikes waterlogging, and avoids hot and humid conditions. It has the habit of growing in cool seasons and dormant in summer.
