Crassula rupestris 'Morning Star' Plant Attributes

Chinese Name Morning Star Alias Latin Name Crassula rupestris Family Crassulaceae Genus Sedum Origin and Distribution

Crassula rupestris 'Morning Star' Plant Introduction

'Morning Star' is a Sedum rupestris succulent, a small tufted plant with fat triangular leaves, larger than those of Xiaomi Star and Money Tree. The leaves are green with white-green edges, and it belongs to the same string-like variety as Money Tree and Xiaomi Star.

'Morning Star' enjoys sunlight. Insufficient light will cause the plant to stretch, increasing the distance between leaves and making the plant loose and less aesthetically pleasing. 'Morning Star' cannot be propagated by leaf insertion, but it is very suitable for cutting propagation. Cut the branches, leave four to five leaves, let the wound dry, and then insert it into moist soil to induce root growth.
