Aeonium Mardi Gras is a succulent plant belonging to the Crassula family and Echeveria genus, also known as Sanseshafasi. It is a variegated cultivar of Shafasi with stable variegation, classified as a medium to large-sized variety, with the largest leaf rosette reaching over 20 centimeters.
Aeonium Mardi Gras has an average growth rate and is relatively unlikely to bloom. It prefers warm, dry, and well-lit environments, is drought-tolerant, and can withstand temperatures as low as -2 degrees Celsius (keeping the potting soil dry). At -3 degrees Celsius, the leaves may look slightly wilted, but they will recover and stand upright as temperatures rise.
Aeonium Mardi Gras is somewhat tolerant of semi-shade. Insufficient light for extended periods can cause the leaves to fade and easily stretch, making the leaf stalks soft and weak.
